William spent 25 years as a Foreign Service Eligible Family Member (EFM) while his spouse, Margot Carrington, pursued a Foreign Service career. Together, they balanced two careers and raised two children through numerous moves and relocations.

Today, the family has settled in beautiful Asheville, North Carolina, and William enjoys helping other members of the Foreign Affairs Community achieve financial peace of mind. Although Margot is not an employee of the firm, she does occasionally serve as an adviser on matters pertaining to marketing and the intricacies of Foreign Service employment.
